Weight Loss Tip – Tracking Diet Adherence Is Key to Weight Loss Success

By Mike Roussell · Friday, February 27th, 2009

I call this the fat loss secrets because it was really until I really

kind of started tracking this and paying really close attention to

this technique this strategy. That my weight loss really didn’t take

off, and the same is true for my clients. This is the one thing we do

we make them do this, all of a sudden they start losing, and they

start getting better results.

It’s really important, really invasions like most things that are

really effective it’s very simple. And it’s compliant, tracking your

compliant. You want to make sure that you are tracking how many meals

you eat and how many meals that you eat that are off your diet plan.

At any given week, you’re supposed to have scheduled an X amount of

meals. In a perfect world if you ate 100 percent of your meals. How

many would it be? Right, then you need to check off every day with

every meal, ate the meal I was supposed to, stayed on track of my

diet, checking it off as time goes by.

Now this might seem kind of stupid, because you’re like oh, I’ll just

keep track of it in my head it doesn’t work that way. There is

something magical about writing it down, and tracking your diet on

paper. Checking off every meal you eat. And also checking off and

circling meals you skip, or “cheat meals”, or if you go off your diet.

At the end of the week you can look, and you can see. Where do you go

off track, where did you stay on track? What are the different things

you need to work on for the coming weeks? That is the fat loss secret,

that’s very important is track your compliance, and you want to shoot

for at least 90 percent compliance.
